Choosing The Right Flue Type

Selecting the correct flue type is one of the most important considerations when purchasing a new gas fire. Wildfire offers solutions for a variety of installation requirements, ensuring homeowners can enjoy a beautiful focal point regardless of property type. If your home has a suitable chimney, conventional flue models can provide an excellent heating solution. For homes without a chimney, a balanced flue appliance may offer the perfect alternative, venting safely through an external wall.

Before selecting any gas appliance, professional guidance is recommended to ensure the chosen fire is compatible with your home's construction and ventilation requirements. A Gas Safe registered installer can assess your existing fireplace opening, chimney condition and installation options to help identify the most appropriate solution.

Installation, efficiency and performance benefits:

Balanced flue options available for homes without a chimney
Glass fronted models offer excellent heat retention
Suitable for contemporary and traditional interiors
Designed to enhance warmth and ambience
Wide range of decorative trim options
Professional installation recommended
